PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Fire Drops Loose Glitter Pigment

By day, deep inside the Enchanted Garden’s densest forest, the vast Agni Tree melts quietly into the sprawling greenery. But as dusk descends, Sparkling Fireflies teem around its warming branches. For they know the secret thrill of the Agni Tree, and their delirious dance is a harbinger of the joyous night fireworks to come.

The Agni Tree’s roots plunge to the depths of the earth, where they are nourished by molten lava. Each night, the magma rushes from the ground and pulses through the branches, until the crowning blossoms explode in a shower of vibrant molten fire drops, gleaming in every colour of the spectrum. The darting fireflies, smitten with the energy of these molten bubbles of joy, infuse their wings with the thrill; never knowing which hue will appear each evening.  By dawn, these swift, uncurling flames of primeval fire dry into an exquisite concentrate, used to infuse with bliss the Enchanted Garden’s various festivities.

We were inspired to recreate their zingy pigments for you as the Fire Drops range. Adorning yourself with this fiery lava dust will gift you with the playful mischief of a fluttering firefly and the intense brightness of the blossoms’ luminescent shades.

The formula contains a super high percentage of pearl, which will grant your eyes a marvellous shine and luminosity but with a weightless feel. We added Sodium PCA, a natural moisturiser that maintains the water balance of the skin, makes the texture soft and elastic and the application creamy and easy. A sponge-tipped wand enclosed in a practical bottle will safely keep the pigment inside and let it out only when you want it.

Small tricks:

JENNI SAYS:
Rouge Bunny Rouge’s Fire Drops Loose Glitter Pigment eye shadows have completely changed my entire approach to eye shadows and all makeup in general.  Before discovering loose glitter pigment  I would wear eye shadows maybe once every two months; sometimes more if I had several ‘events’ to go to, but then again I would usually just get my makeup done by a professional (or a friend) if the event required anything more than the basic neutral/natural eye look.  I simply hated doing my eye makeup!  No matter what shades I tried or what combinations of shades I tried – the outcome was always disappointing.  I couldn’t achieve that ‘I know what I’m doing’ look with my eye makeup applications.  To put it in simple terms, I was the girl who didn’t own any eye shadow single pots, and instead had a few simple (and boring) shadow palettes complete with detailed instructions and an application guide booklet.  I wanted it to be as easy and simple as humanely possible.  But that was then…and now I have Rouge Bunny Rouge!

Rouge Bunny Rouge Fire Drops Loose Glitter Pigment

Wearable, blend-able and adaptable formulas and shades are at the very heart of all Rouge Bunny Rouge products, and their eye shadows & loose glitter pigments are no exception.  These formulas are absolutely outstanding and have been sourced from the world’s most sophisticated laboratories.  I am not exaggerating in the least when I say that these magical potions are the single reason I love to do my eye makeup now a days.

From the first moment I pulled the sponge-tipped glass applicator out of the beautifully decorated bottle, and experienced my first glimpse of the mesmerizing color pigments – I was in love.  I was expecting a messy loose glitter disaster, as if the fireflies had a crash landing all over my bathroom counter – not the case at all!  In fact, the soft wand applicator grabs a hold of the pigment perfectly, and without allowing any particles to escape.

The first thing I noticed once I applied the pigment to my skin, was how unbelievably soft and creamy it finished.  I have no words to accurately describe how it feels on the skin, you really have to just experience it for yourself – it’s AMAZING!  It’s the most finely milled and the softest loose powder I have ever come across before.  In fact, there is nothing ‘loose’ about this pigment eye shadow, because it stays perfectly intact, glides on with incredible ease, looks flawless and feels like liquid silk.

Oh and those colors…those breathtaking colors…those magical fire drops of color….OK i’ll stop now :)  But seriously, the colors come to life with multi-demensional shades and a spectacular iridescence! I don’t know why the word “glitter” is even in its’ name, because the Fire Drops pigments are in no way glittery.  Instead they provide a gorgeous, softly shimmering effect on the eyes.

In the picture below, the swatches have been smudged a bit to show a softer finish…

So getting back to my original point…the reason the Fire Drops Loose Glitter Pigment eye shadows have changed my outlook on eye makeup is because I can now add this new exciting element to my eyes – an iridescent 3D effect.  Applying Fire Drops by itself, as a highlighting shade and/or contouring shade, or even just ‘dusting’ it over other shadows, completely changes my look and transforms my makeup.  My eyes come to life, dancing with shimmer in the moonlight and softly glowing with sparkle in the sun.  All of my friends whom I’ve either applied the loose pigments on or have seen it applied on me, have commented on how incredible the eye makeup looks.
In the pictures below I have ‘dusted’ Sleeping Under a Mandarin Tree into the inner corners of my eyes, sweeping it halfway across the lid and up along the brow bone.  The other RBR eye shadow shades used include: Abyssinian Catbird and Fire-tailed Sunbird…

They are so versatile and can be worn in so many ways, Zuneta says “Wear them alone for a sheer hint of jewelled beauty, or experiment by sweeping them over any eye shadow for a myriad of wondrous, iridescent colours. Go ahead and personalise your look (i.e. Alabaster Starling Eye Shadow with Night Wind Sailing dusted on top).”
In the pictures below I have applied a thin line of Wishing for Wings, using the sponge tip applicator, on the outer half of the lids along the lash line…
